Who are the good AI consultants in Slovenia? A comparison of 14 providers (2026)

Fourteen Slovenian AI consulting providers compared on public data: who they serve, whether they publish prices, offer a free call, team workshops and cases with numbers.

Žiga Flis··11 min read

Short answer: of the fourteen Slovenian AI consulting providers we reviewed, five publish prices, six explicitly offer a free first call, and two publish cases with numbers, with two more doing so only partly. The comparison below uses only public information from the providers' own websites, checked on 9 October 2026, plus the KCUI provider catalogue. Where something is missing, the table says so.

A fair warning first: this article is written by Flisko, one of the providers compared. That is why we picked criteria you can check yourself in a few minutes, and why Flisko is not at the top: providers are listed alphabetically.

What we compared and why

There is no official ranking of AI consultants in Slovenia. There are, however, a few questions any buyer can answer with nothing more than the provider's website open:

Providers in alphabetical order

AI ZAME (aizame.si) is a consultancy for sole traders, women entrepreneurs and small businesses, and a member of the Savinjska regional incubator. It offers one-to-one consulting, in-house team workshops (two days of six hours) and open five-hour group workshops for up to ten participants, plus a free 30-minute consultation for new clients. Prices are not published ("Povprašajte za ponudbo", ask for a quote); three past projects are described, but without numbers. It suits sole traders and small teams that are just getting to know AI tools.

AIERA (aiera.si, AIERA d.o.o.) addresses companies with ten or more employees and heads of sales, marketing, HR and operations. It offers consulting, four training formats (from a short workshop to a multi-session adoption programme), systems and AI agents. It suggests starting with a 15-minute video call "with no obligation", and separately runs a free online AI readiness check. The site shows no prices and no cases with numbers.

Arctur (arctur.ai, Arctur d.o.o., Nova Gorica) is an infrastructure provider rather than a classic consultancy: models over an API, GPU compute, private RAG and AI servers in a Slovenian data centre. It is the only provider here with detailed public infrastructure pricing, from a free plan to an Enterprise plan at 2,000 € per month and AI servers from 3,000 € per month. The arctur.ai site is in English, shows no client cases, and the company is listed in the KCUI catalogue. It suits companies that want to run models on infrastructure located in Slovenia.

Bistri Sistemi (bistrisistemi.si, CU d.o.o., Ljubljana) builds AI automations for companies with three to fifty employees, from tourist farms to builders. The free consultation lasts 20 minutes, the team workshop four hours, and offers come at a fixed price, though no amounts appear on the site. It is the only provider here that promises a refund if the agreed measure is not met. The site shows about thirty client logos; its time-saving examples are labelled as illustrations.

Flisko (flisko.si, the author of this article) is a one-person provider from Gorica pri Slivnici working for small and medium-sized companies in Slovenia, Croatia and Austria; Žiga Flis does the consulting personally. After a free 30-minute call you receive a written offer with a fixed scope and price within 24 hours. Published prices are a workshop from 950 € for a group of up to five and a GEO setup at 199 €; prices are final because Flisko is not registered for VAT. Two cases with Search Console and GA4 data are published (3DnaKlik.si and Elektro Žibret). Flisko is not listed in the KCUI catalogue.

JT Digital (jtdigital.si, JT Digital d.o.o., Ljubljana and Maribor) is a custom software studio that uses AI as a tool; its site says "AI is our tool, not our business model". It shows a working prototype before you sign, gives the price before work starts and offers a 15-minute call with no obligation. Its published cases carry measurable scale, for example 235 entries for GZS Inovacije and 10,000 simultaneous players for Olimpijski kviz. The site is in English; it suits companies that need an application rather than advice.

KeyKeyAI (ai.keykey.si, Klemen Kladnik s.p.) specialises in small businesses with one to ten employees on the Slovenian coast and in Friuli Venezia Giulia, and works exclusively with Claude. It has the most detailed price list in this comparison: AI Kickstart 499 €, review and roadmap 490 to 790 €, automation 2,000 to 8,000 €, a team workshop for three to eight people at 600 to 1,200 € and consulting at 100 € per hour; the site does not say whether VAT is included. The first consultation is free; no client cases are published. The site is in Slovenian, Italian and English.

Nevo AI (nevoai.si, Log pri Brezovici) builds AI assistants for customer communication, for example for salons and clinics, and also makes websites. Prices are published as ranges: a single assistant at 400 to 600 € per month, packages at 900 to 2,000 € per month. The site says "Rezervirajte brezplačen klic z nami" (book a free call with us) and also offers a free online business analysis. Team training is part of rolling out the assistants; we found no separate workshops and no cases with numbers.

SEOS AI (seos.si) was founded and is led by Peter Mesarec, who according to the site has worked with 150 or more organisations, from medium-sized companies to international corporations. It offers process analysis and AI prioritisation, implementation of automations, and training programmes for leadership and teams; the site says they will not recommend a project without a clear return. As evidence it publishes client testimonials with numbers, for example more than 60 automation opportunities identified at A1 and an expected saving of more than 10 hours a week at Linea Snella, but no full case studies. It offers a 30-minute conversation to start; no prices are shown.

Skillifai (skillifai.me, formerly skillifai.si; Skillifai d.o.o., Ljubljana) is a training specialist: AI Ready workshops for groups of up to 12, custom programmes for leaders, and talks from a pool of twenty speakers. The published price of the AI Ready workshop is 1,590 € + DDV (plus Slovenian VAT); custom programmes are priced by agreement. The site shows partner logos and rated participant testimonials, but no cases with numbers. In the KCUI catalogue it holds "Preverjen ponudnik" (verified provider) status.

Smartilabs (smartilabs.si, Smartilabs d.o.o.) targets Slovenian companies with 10 to 250 employees and works in engagements of three to twelve months, billed monthly. Its services are business system modernisation, process automation and team training in monthly cycles. The price is set during a 30-minute consultation that the site does not describe as free; what is free is an AI readiness checklist. Its published project omara.si cites about four weeks to first production, but no measured client results are shown.

Smartis (smartis.si, Smartis d.o.o., Ljubljana and Zagreb) is an IT company with more than twenty years of infrastructure experience that offers AI transformation to company leadership using its own Smartis AI6 framework. It starts with a free structured intro conversation (the AI Readiness Assessment), followed by a paid workshop for a small group of executives; no prices are shown. The only example with numbers is labelled illustrative. Smartis is listed in the KCUI catalogue.

Synemis (synemis.si, Ljubljana) builds AI agents and automations for Slovenian small and medium-sized companies and runs its own team platform, Vida. It stands out on data protection: each client gets a separate instance, outgoing email needs human approval, and EU-hosted model options are available. We found no prices, workshops or free call on the site, and its examples are explicitly "illustrative starting points, not client case studies".

Tevora Solutions (tevorasolutions.si, Ljubljana) works for B2B companies in Slovenia and the EU: sales automation, chatbots, voice agents and independent AI consulting delivered as an audit with a written report in about four weeks. The audit includes a workshop; there is no team training. For sales automation you pay only after the first agreed meeting; no prices are published. Cases are listed as headlines with numbers, for example syncing nine Shopify stores in under seven minutes, without further detail.

How to choose an AI consultant

The table shows who is transparent. Who is right for you only becomes clear in a conversation. In the first meeting, ask for five things:

  1. Two references with a similar problem. Not logos, but two companies that tackled something like your problem, and a person you can call. If a consultant has no such references yet, that is not automatically a reason to walk away, but they should say so themselves.
  2. A pilot with measurable goals and a cost. One process, one deadline, one number: for example, cutting the time to prepare a quote from two hours to fifteen minutes within six weeks, for an amount agreed in advance. A pilot without a measure is a demo.
  3. A clear answer on where models run and how data is protected. Ask whether business and personal data go to the model provider, whether they are used for training, where the servers are and who has access. For personal data, insist on a written data processing agreement.
  4. A plan for after the pilot. Who maintains the solution, what tool subscriptions cost and whether your team can run it alone. A solution that works only while the consultant is in the building is not a solution.
  5. The name of the person doing the work. At larger providers, one person often sells and another delivers. Ask who will sit with your team, and talk to them before you sign.

What ChatGPT says about this

When we asked ChatGPT with web search on 9 October 2026 who the good AI consultants in Slovenia are, it built its answer from directory lists, including the KCUI catalogue, and from company websites. Answers differ between runs and between models, so a single answer is not a ranking. A comparison based on public data lets you check every claim yourself.

What to do next

If you run a small or medium-sized company and want a consultant who works personally and at a price known in advance, see the Claude workshop for teams or book a free 30-minute call. Within 24 hours of the call you receive a written offer with a fixed scope and price. If another provider on this list suits you better, this article has done its job.

Frequently asked questions

  • Which AI consultants in Slovenia publish their prices?

Five of the fourteen providers we reviewed on 9 October 2026 publish prices: Flisko (workshop from 950 €, GEO setup 199 €), KeyKeyAI (for example AI Kickstart 499 € and consulting at 100 € per hour), Skillifai (AI Ready workshop 1,590 € + DDV, i.e. plus Slovenian VAT), Nevo AI (AI assistants from 400 € per month) and Arctur (infrastructure and model pricing). The rest quote a price after a call or in a written offer.

  • Is a first call with a Slovenian AI consultant usually free?

Six of the fourteen providers state explicitly that the first call or consultation is free: AI ZAME, Bistri Sistemi, Flisko, KeyKeyAI, Nevo AI and Smartis. Four more offer a short call of 15 to 30 minutes without saying whether it costs anything. Ask before you book.

  • Which of these AI providers are listed in the KCUI catalogue?

Three providers in this comparison appear in the provider catalogue of the Slovenian Competence Centre for Artificial Intelligence (KCUI, kcui.si): Arctur, Skillifai and Smartis. On 9 October 2026 the catalogue held 32 entries, mostly larger technology companies, research institutes and universities. Flisko is not listed.

  • How can I vet an AI consultant before signing anything?

Look on their website for a published case with real numbers at a named client, a price or at least a clear statement of when you will get one, and the name of the person who will do the work. Then ask for two references with a problem like yours and for a pilot proposal with a measurable goal and a fixed cost.
