Who does GEO optimization for businesses in Slovenia?

Generative engine optimization in Slovenia is delivered by Flisko — Informacijske storitve, Žiga Flis s.p., based in Gorica pri Slivnici. We work with companies across Slovenia, including Ljubljana, Maribor and Celje, and with clients in Croatia and Austria. We prepare a site so ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini can read it, understand it and cite it: llms.txt, explicit AI-crawler rules in robots.txt, and structured data about the company.

The AI visibility test is free and needs no sign-up. A one-off setup costs 199 €, monthly monitoring 149 €, and the monthly optimization packages 390 €, 790 € or 1,150 €. These are final prices — the provider is not VAT-registered.

The same fixes are live on our own domain and you can verify them in one click at flisko.si/llms.txt. The work is done by Žiga Flis personally; the address and phone number are published on the about page. Slovenian speakers can read this page in Slovenian at GEO optimizacija.

What is GEO optimization

GEO optimization (Generative Engine Optimization) is the work of preparing a website so generative search engines can read it and cite it in their answer. It is not a rewrite of your marketing — it is the technical signals that tell a model who you are and what you offer.

GEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and LLMO are different names for the same work. The term GEO comes from research by US universities, presented at KDD 2024.

How is GEO optimization different from SEO?

Both matter and the technical groundwork overlaps — the difference is what you compete for and how you measure the result.

On the right, a single generated answer in which one company is named.SEO · results pageTen links. You compete for the click.GEO · generated answerYour companyOne answer. You compete for the mention.
In classic search you are one of ten links and the visitor chooses. In an AI answer there is no list: the model names one or two companies, and everyone else is absent from that answer entirely.

Why ChatGPT does not recommend you

Most likely because it never read your site. An AI search engine does not return ten links for you to choose between — it returns one answer and names one or two companies in it. If the model does not receive your content, or cannot make sense of it, you are not in that answer, however well you rank on Google.

The three most common reasons are technical and fixable.

  • The page renders only in the browser — the crawler sees an empty shell.
  • robots.txt says nothing about AI crawlers — some of them back off rather than guess.
  • There is no structured data about the company — the model does not know who you are, where you operate or what you sell.
How an AI assistant assembles an answerA question goes to the model, the model reads robots.txt, llms.txt, server-rendered HTML and structured data, and produces a single answer naming one company.1“Who does Xin Slovenia?”2 · What the model readsrobots.txtllms.txtServer-rendered HTMLStructured data (JSON-LD)3 · One answerNamed company…everyone else: absent
Between the question and the answer there is one step you control: what the model can actually read. Those four files and signals are the whole of what GEO setup puts in place.

Google’s AI Overviews reach more than 1.5 billion users a month according to Google — an answer without links is not the future, it is the present.

What the test checks

The test reviews twenty-one technical signals in five groups and returns a level from 0 to 5. The first three groups decide whether an AI search engine can cite you at all — those are what the setup addresses. The last two are advanced and for most businesses represent the next step, not a shortcoming.

  • Discoverability — robots.txt, sitemap, link headers and DNS records.
  • Content accessibility — whether a model can read your content without running a browser.
  • Bot access control — which AI crawlers may read your content, and for what.
  • Agent service discovery — advanced standards an agent uses to connect to your services.
  • Commerce protocols — buying and paying through agents. Only relevant for online sales.

The score is computed by an independent, publicly available scanner, not by us — so the result is verifiable rather than something we made up.

What it costs and what you get

One path with a fork at the end: a free test, a one-off setup for 199 €, then either monthly monitoring or one of three monthly optimization packages. A subscription is not a condition of the setup, and the setup does not roll into one automatically. All prices are final — the provider is not VAT-registered, so nothing is added on top.

1. Free AI visibility test

0 € no limits
  • A level from 0 to 5 across twenty-one technical signals, on screen in half a minute.
  • A list of the core checks your site does not pass.
  • A detailed write-up of the fixes by email if you leave an address — free and with no obligation.
  • Check any number of sites, including your competitors.

Not included: manual content review, competitor data, installation.

2. AI search setup

199 € one-off
  • llms.txt, written for your business — not a template.
  • A robots.txt block naming the AI crawlers: GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, OAI-SearchBot and the rest.
  • Structured data about the company and its services as JSON-LD, ready to paste in.
  • Short written instructions on what goes where — separately for WordPress and for a custom site.
  • A re-test after installation, run by us, and a one-page report with the result before and after.

Turnaround: files within three working days of the completed questionnaire. We run the re-test once you tell us it is live. If you would rather not install it yourself, we do it for 139 € extra.

Not included: manual rewriting of copy, a snapshot of ChatGPT / Claude / Perplexity answers, competitor analysis and new content — those belong to the monthly packages below. We do not do advertising or buy links.

After the setup — monitoring or one of three monthly packages

When the setup is delivered you receive a report in exactly the format the monthly one uses — with the rows a subscription would fill left visibly empty. Once you have seen it, you know what you would be getting each month, and you decide once. If you decide against it, nothing happens: the files stay yours and nothing on the site changes. Monitoring can be cancelled any time; the optimization packages are ongoing monthly services with a three-month minimum.

3. Monthly monitoring

149 € per month
  • A one-page report by the 5th of the month: what changed and what it means.
  • A re-check of your site against the same twenty-one signals. If the score drops, you hear the same day.
  • Eight questions put manually to ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity. You get the answers verbatim and dated, so you can see how the wording about you shifts month to month.
  • Twelve Google AI Overview queries: whether an overview appeared, who is cited and whether you are among them.
  • Search Console and GA4 data for the tracked query set: impressions, clicks, position, visits.
  • Cancel any time, with no notice period.

Requires: a completed setup, or an equivalent state as shown by the test.

Not included: changes to your site and competitor analysis. Monitoring on its own improves nothing — we say that plainly.

4. Visibility

390 € per month
  • Everything in monthly monitoring.
  • A monthly AI visibility review across ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google's AI Overview.
  • Competitor analysis: who gets recommended instead of you, and why.
  • Two optimized content pieces a month — a new or reworked page with a direct answer up front, a table and matching JSON-LD. Published once you approve it.
  • Alignment of company signals across key platforms: name, description, services, location — identical everywhere.
  • Tracking of mentions and citations in AI tools, verbatim and dated.
  • Maintenance of structured data and technical signals as your site or the standards change.
  • A monthly progress report and a thirty-minute call by the 10th.
  • by the 5threport for the previous month
  • by the 10th30-minute call; agreement on this month's work
  • by the 20thdraft content or fixes for your review
  • by month endapproved work shipped or installed
  • same day it happensalert if the score drops

The same monthly rhythm applies to all three packages. Three-month minimum, then monthly cancellation. Requires a completed setup, or an equivalent state as shown by the test.

Not included: PR placements on external sources and advertising.

5. Authority

790 € per month
  • Everything in Visibility.
  • Four AI-optimized articles a month.
  • Restructuring of existing content so models recognize and summarize it: headings, direct answers, tables, definitions.
  • Definition of the company entity — who you are and who you serve — consistently across content, structured data and llms.txt.
  • Citation statements: short, verifiable sentences about the company that AI systems lift into their answer.
  • Coverage of the platforms models actively read: directories, profiles, Google Business Profile, professional sites.
  • An extended report with competitor insight every second month.

Three-month minimum, then monthly cancellation.

Not included: PR placements on external sources and advertising.

6. AI Leader

1,150 € per month
  • Everything in Authority.
  • Eight optimized articles a month, in long and short form.
  • Site-wide structured data for AI categorization: products, services, locations, authors, FAQ.
  • PR placements on sources AI systems draw on when composing answers.
  • Proactively closing the gaps where competitors lead — query by query.
  • A full digital-footprint strategy for the company.
  • A quarterly in-depth strategic review.

Three-month minimum, then monthly cancellation.

Not included: advertising and buying links.

7. Custom

on request one-off or monthly
  • For sites with several languages, a product catalogue, multiple locations or in-house development — and for agencies that hand the work to us.
  • We agree the scope on a thirty-minute call. You receive a fixed-scope, fixed-price quote within 24 hours.

None of these prices is tied to a promised ranking or mention. We do not promise those — and nobody can guarantee them, not even the model providers. You pay for work that gets done and measurement that can be verified.

If you are looking for broader work, see the 3-hour Claude AI workshop as well.

Why us and not an SEO agency

Because the same fixes are already live on our own domain and you can verify them in one click: flisko.si/llms.txt, flisko.si/robots.txt and flisko.si/.well-known/api-catalog. Run the test on our domain and compare it with the result for yours.

The work is done by Žiga Flis — a named person and a named company, with the address and phone number on the about page rather than hidden behind a contact form. We work with language models every day; the Claude AI workshop is the same practice pointed at your team instead of your website.

What we do not promise

  • No guaranteed rankings. Nobody can guarantee that ChatGPT will mention you — not even the model providers.
  • No influence on model training data. We can influence what a model reads today, not what it learned last year.
  • The test is a sample of technical signals, not an official scoreboard. Models change weekly.
  • First movement is a matter of weeks, not days — and depends partly on how often crawlers visit your site.

Frequently asked questions about AI search visibility

  • What is generative engine optimization (GEO)?

GEO is the work of preparing a website so generative search engines — ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini — can read it, understand it and cite it in their answer. It covers technical signals such as llms.txt, explicit rules for AI crawlers, and structured data about the company. GEO, AEO and LLMO are names for the same work.

  • Why doesn't ChatGPT recommend us even though we rank well on Google?

Usually because the model never received your content: the page renders only in the browser, robots.txt blocks AI crawlers, or there is nothing on the page that convinces the model you are the right answer. Google can fall back on history and links; a model works with the text it reads at that moment.

  • How much does GEO optimization cost?

The test is free. A one-off setup for AI search costs 199 €. After that you can add monthly monitoring at 149 € (cancel any time) or one of three monthly optimization packages: Visibility 390 €, Authority 790 € and AI Leader 1,150 € per month, with a three-month minimum. For multilingual sites, catalogues or agencies we quote within 24 hours. These are final prices — the provider is not VAT-registered, so nothing is added.

  • Do you work with businesses outside Slovenia?

Yes. The work is remote, so location does not matter. Alongside Slovenian companies we work with clients in Croatia and Austria, in English, Croatian or German. The company is registered in Slovenia as Informacijske storitve, Žiga Flis s.p.

  • Is the test really free, and what happens to the address I enter?

Yes. You enter a web address, the system reads the site and the score appears on screen — no sign-up, no card, no subscription. You can check any number of sites, including competitors. A detailed write-up with concrete fixes is emailed only if you fill in the form. The address and email are used solely for that reply; the process is described in the privacy policy.

  • Which models do you optimize for — only ChatGPT?

ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini. They all read the same things: server-rendered text, structured data and files such as llms.txt — so one set of fixes works across all of them. We work with Claude every day, so we check what Claude says about you as well, not just ChatGPT.

  • How is GEO different from SEO?

With SEO you compete for a click from a list of links; the goal is a ranking that brings a visitor to your site. With GEO you compete for a mention inside a single generated answer, where there is no list. Both matter, and the technical groundwork overlaps heavily — a fast, server-rendered page with structured data helps either way.

  • Can you prove the work on your own site?

Yes, in one click. The same fixes we sell are live on flisko.si: flisko.si/llms.txt, flisko.si/robots.txt and flisko.si/.well-known/api-catalog. Run the free test on our domain and compare it with the result for yours.
